Maintaining Momentum in Q4

It's the most wonderful time of the year! The holidays are upon us, the stores on Fifth Avenue are decorated and I am planning the menu for a Holiday meal with my wonderful family. Even with all the hustle and bustle and excitement of the holidays, the Foster Group has seen exceedingly positive Fourth Quarter gains in 2017. In our weekly meetings, we look at the progression of each deal and discuss ways to strengthen our candidate’s position in the market. As we get to the final and most important stage of a deal, the offer, the Foster Group focuses closely on the details and keeps a constant channel of communication open with our candidates, to ensure a strong offer is furnished and to pave the way for a smooth transition.

The results of this strategy have been exceptional. In October, The Foster Group has accomplished: 

  •  7 closings 
  •  3 Partners
  •  1 group
  •  3 promotions i.e. elevation in title
  •  Offer received within 3 weeks
  • 85% of deals have included a compensation increase

We have really focused on the efficiency of our searches, by that we mean tailoring our searches and targeting the right firms for our candidates. Because of this focus, five deals, including one group deal, were completed in 60 days or less. Our candidates are delighted by the results and quite pleased to have their search conducted in a timely manner.
